Bildiğiniz gibi Almanya'da yaşıyordum ve bunun en güzel tarafları festivallerdi.Keşke bizde de çok olsa ama malesef yok :/ Neyse ki onlarla Fasching'i kutlama şansım vardı.Biliyorsunuz Halloween her zaman için favorimdi taaa ki Fasching'le tanışana kadar,şimdi iki tane favorim var.İkisi birbiriyle çok benzer gözükebilir ama Fasching Halloween'den biraz daha geleneksel bir şey,bende o yönünü çok sevdim.Bilmeyenler için biraz anlatayım.

Genellikle katolik bölgeler ve Almanca konuşulan yerlerde Paskalya öncesinde kutlanan festivallerin tümüne verilen isim.Genellikle de Ash Wednesday'den önce kutlamalar yoğunlaşıyor.Bunlar ; Weiberfastnacht,çeşitli partiler ve kutlamalar,Rosenmontag and Fastnachtdienstag.

Weiberfastnacht'ta iş yerleri erken kapanıyor,herkes kostümüyle lokal barlara ya da sokaktaki eğlencelere katılıyor.Bugüne dair diğer bir özellik kadınların kravat takan erkeklerden beğendiklerinin kravatlarını kesmesi :)

Weiberfastnacht 4 Şubat'taydı,o gün ilk olarak giyecek bir şeyler almak için dışarı çıktım kostümüm olduğu halde.Sokakta ki herkes,dükkanlarda çalışanlar yaşlılar bile kostüm giymişti! Eczaneye ve kuaföre gittiğimde bile kostümlüydü herkes.Çok güzel değil miii! Akşamda her barda parti vardı hemen hemen herkes dışardaydı,hiç o kadar kalabalık görmemiştim etrafı.Ben evimin oradaki bir tür sokak partisine gittim ve o da çok kalabalıktı.Her yer polis,hemşire,muz,kedi kadın,melek vb doluydu :D Ama sadece bir tane iskelet vardı :D Ben H&M'den aldığım bu iskelet kostumunu giydim.

Kostüm fiyatları genelde 10-30 euro arası değişiyor.Eğer festival günü alışverişe giderseniz çoğu kostüm ve aksesuarlar indirimde oluyor.Mesela ben bir tavşan kız kostümünü 5 euroya bulmuştum.

As you know,I was living in Germany and one of the best parts of it are festivals.I wish we had more in my country however we don't have.I'm really lucky to had a chance to celebrate Fasching with them.You know Halloween had been my favorite until I met Faschiiing.I have 2 favorites now actually.Halloween and Fasching may look similar but I think Fasching is more traditional than Halloween which I like that so much.Let me tell about Fasching briefly to you.

It's Pre-Lenten festives celebrated in grand style in mostly the predominantly catholic regions of the German-speaking countries.Fasching culminates into Fasching week which beginds the week before Ash Wednesday.The biggest festivities are held the week before Ash Wednesday as follows; Weiberfastnacht,Parties,celebrations,Rosenmontag and Fastnachtdienstag.

Weiberfastnacht ; At the workplaces , work end before noon. There are hardly any parades but people wear costumes and celebrate in pubs and in the street parties.On that day women cut off the ties of men,which are seen as a symbol of men's status.


Weiberfastnacht was on 4th February,firstly I went to shopping to buy something to wear although I already have one.Everybody in streets and stores even the elder ones were wearing costume! Even when I went to pharmacy and hairdresser they were wearing costume! Isn't it wonderfuuul?! In the evening I went to some local parties.Actually there were kind of street party and it was very crowded.There were lots of bananas,polices,nurses,cat-women,angels on the streets :) And there was just one skeleton-lady :p I wore my skeleton costume which is from H&M.

Costume prices are between 10-30 euro! If you go shopping on the "festival day" mostly costumes and accessorizes are on sale.I found a rabbit-girl costume and it was like 5 euro!
